The United Nations (UN) Team of Experts on the Rule of Law and Sexual Violence in Conflict was established by Security Council resolution 1888 in 2009 to help national authorities strengthen accountability for conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). The Team supports judicial systems by conducting workshops with prosecutors and judges to enhance the investigation and prosecution of CRSV cases in a survivor-centered way. As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the documentation and analysis of gender-based violence (GBV), including conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) cases under sub-case 2 of Macro-Case 11, the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (SJP) requires technical support to organize and structure large volumes of documentary evidence from institutional and non-institutional sources. Building on the initial phase of support to the systematization GBV, including CRSV, cases under Sub-Case 2 of Macro-Case 11, significant progress has been achieved in understanding, organizing, consolidating and reviewing a large volume of available documentary information. However, the exercise has revealed additional layers of complexity. The consultants will be expected to: • Continue the systematic review, verification, and consolidation of case information from institutional and non-institutional sources, including newly identified records within the SJP database. The volume of records to be processed will be progressively agreed with the SJP team, based on the advancement of the exercise and the strengthening of the process. • Refine and apply the agreed coding and classification system, ensuring consistency across all entries and alignment with the analytical framework of Sub-Case 2. • Undertake in-depth verification of previously entered data, including cross-referencing sources, resolving inconsistencies, and completing missing fields. • Maintain and update a change log documenting all adjustments made, validations performed, and fields completed. • Support the integration and refinement of geospatial and temporal data to strengthen pattern analysis and contextualization of crimes. • Consolidate assigned data into a clean and comprehensive dataset, delivering a validated and analysis-ready database suitable for statistical analysis and identification of macro-criminal patterns.. • Flag complex cases, inconsistencies, or gaps requiring legal or analytical review by the Team Leader and the judicial team. • Produce assigned preliminary analytical outputs, including aggregated figures, trends, and descriptive summaries, to inform the drafting of the ADHC., including aggregated figures, trends, and descriptive summaries to inform the drafting of the ADHC. • Provide regular progress updates and contribute to internal technical discussions with the TOE and the Sub-Case 2 team. • Attend and actively participate in all in-person and virtual meetings as convened by the Team Leader and the SJP Sub-Case 2 team.

• First-level university degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, or related disciplines. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Proficiency in Excel or database software. • At least 2–3 years of experience in human rights documentation, legal research, or transitional justice. • Familiarity with database management, documentation review, or information systematization. • Knowledge of gender-based and sexual violence documentation desirable.

Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and at least one other UN official language.
