Hi, I'm Max. The idea for GloJobs came from a very simple place — a few good friends of mine were trying to break into the UN system and struggling to navigate the scattered, clunky job boards that existed at the time. I wanted to build something cleaner and smarter, so I did.

I spent over 15 years working for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), which gave me first-hand knowledge of how the UN hiring process actually works — the grade structure, the competency frameworks, the unwritten rules. That experience shaped everything on this site, from the search filters to the salary calculator to the career guides.

GloJobs aggregates vacancies from 20+ international organisations daily, and I keep working on it to make it as useful as possible. If you have feedback — something you like, something that's broken, or a feature you wish existed — I genuinely want to hear it.
