Result of Service

UNRWA Launched the EMR system implementation to deliver a unified, secure, and patient-centered Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system that enhances the quality, efficiency, and continuity of healthcare services across all UNRWA health centres. To support this project initiative, we seek to recruit an experienced EMR System Support Specialist to ensure smooth system operations, provide end-user support, and facilitate effective collaboration between technical and functional teams. The specialist will play a key role in maintaining system stability, enhancing user experience, and ensuring successful rollout and sustainability of the EMR solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Consultant will be responsible for provide end-user support and facilitate effective collaboration between technical and functional teams. Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: • User Support & Incident Management • Service Request & Change Management • System Testing & Quality Assurance • Technical Training & Capacity Building • Go-Live & Post-deployment Support • Coordinate with internal/external teams. • Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications/special skills

• A university degree in information technology or related field. • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in system/application support, preferably with EMR or healthcare systems. • Strong skills in troubleshooting, issue tracking, and system testing. • Very good knowledge in developing complex SQL queries using SQL Server. • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.) for issue and request tracking. • Familiarity with DevOps practices for release management, testing, and deployment coordination.

Languages

Languages ● Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Additional Information

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The selected candidate will be based in UNRWA HQA Amman - Jordan. • The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration that is equivalent to the UN international salary scale of grade 14 Step 1 amounting to JD996.42 for every fully completed month. • The duration of the Contract is up to 12 months, and the possibility of extension is subject to the availability of funds and continuing need and satisfactory performance. • The selected candidate will report to the Senior Technical Lead.
