Duties and Responsibilities
The Child Protection Intern will support the team in the following areas: • Assist in organizing and maintaining child protection files, records, and activity documents. • Help with scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action points. • Assist in data entry, simple data cleaning, and updating tracking sheets. • Support field visits and child-friendly activities when needed, under staff supervision. • Help draft short summaries, activity reports, and success stories. • Assist with communication and coordination with other departments, or relevant stakeholders. • Perform other related support tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/special skills
Required Qualifications • University student or recent graduate in Social Work, Psychology, Education, International Development, Sociology, or any other related field. • Strong interest in child protection, humanitarian work, or community services.
Languages
• Very good command of English.
Additional Information
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Good organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work in person and collaborate in a team environment.

Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken, may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization.
