The Position:
The Planning, M&E Analyst will provide technical inputs to the programme formulation; monitoring results against country/regional level targets and facilitating the reporting of results as well as contribute to knowledge management and maintaining a culture of results. She/He also promotes the use of the results information for adaptations. S/he also act as evaluation manager and ensure the quality of evaluation processes and products in conformity with UNFPA Evaluation Quality Standards.
You will report directly to the Information Management Specialist.

Job Purpose:
The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will contribute to effective results planning, monitoring, reporting, communication and evaluation of programmes and projects.
You would be responsible for:
A. Results planning
Provide technical inputs to programme formulation to ensure results are properly defined
B. Monitoring
Provide technical inputs to the monitoring and tracking of results against country/ regional level targets and UNFPA Strategic Plan
C. Results reporting and results communication
Facilitate the reporting of results to internal (Senior Management) and external (Executive Board, Donors) audiences
D. Evaluation
Provide technical support to the CO in the implementation of the UNFPA Evaluation Policy in the Country Office
E. Knowledge management and culture of results
Contribute to knowledge management and maintaining a culture of results
Carry out any other duties as may be required by UNFPA leadership.
