Team leadership and coordination
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to monitoring staff, ensuring clear workplans, quality outputs and timely delivery
- Promote effective communication and coordination across the M&E teams in Country Office and Field Offices to ensure harmonized tools, methods and approaches
- Ensure collaboration and coordination with partners including third party monitor companies
Monitoring systems, planning and corporate compliance
- Lead the maintenance and continuous strengthening of Country Office monitoring systems and tools, contributing to compliance with corporate standards including minimum monitoring requirements (MMR), standard operational procedures (SOP) and corporate results framework (CRF)
- Lead the preparation, consolidation and periodic update of the CO programme monitoring plan (annual, quarterly) across the ICSP portfolio ensuring timely and sufficient programme monitoring coverage and methodological rigor in line with corporate standards to inform the M&E strategy
- Provide support and capacity building to WFP staff and partners on monitoring activities, including training of enumerators and monitoring staff
Data management, quality assurance and analysis
- Analyse monitoring data and produce clear, user-friendly outputs (dashboards, infographics, slide decks and written reports) to support evidence-based decision-making
- Translate monitoring evidence into actionable recommendations for programme adjustments, risk mitigation and learning, and track management responses where relevant
Reporting, learning and knowledge management
- Assist in timely and accurate corporate and donor reporting by providing high-quality inputs derived from monitoring data and analyses and maintaining monitoring databases
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard monitoring products (reports, periodic summaries, dashboards, issue logs)
- Ensure dissemination of the monitoring products and facilitate learning discussions with Programme Unit and Field Offices
- Contribute to evaluation-related tasks as requested (data provision, methodological inputs, management responses, dissemination of findings and follow-up actions)
Crosscutting RAM activities
- Support the Head of M&E/RAM in strengthening results frameworks (Theory of Change, logframe, line of sight, indicators and assumptions) for strategic planning and revisions
- Collaborate with the Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) and Protection, Gender and inclusion (PGI) teams and ensure that AAP and gender perspectives are integrated into monitoring activities, tools and reporting
- Undertake monitoring visits across the different activities’ sites
- Perform other assigned task

Education: Advanced University Degree in one or more of the following disciplines: Statistics, economics, development economics, public policy, social science, food security, or similar relevant discipline, or First University Degree with additional relevant professional experience and/or coursework/trainings.
Coursework/trainings in statistics, econometrics, database management, data analysis, data visualisation, household economics or other relevant topics is an advantage.
Experience:A minimum one year of postgraduate professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a related function.
- Experience among the following areas is desirable:
- Data cleaning, management and analysis of household survey data
- Management and coordination of field monitoring activities in ahumanitarian context
- Food security and related methodologies
- Report writing and dissemination
Experience in monitoring livelihood programmes (e.g., agricultural interventions, farmer support, vocational trainings, or cash-based assistance for small businesses and entrepreneurs) will be regarded as a strong asset.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent data management and analytical skills;
- Strong command of Excel and either one of SPSS or R;
- Ability to provide technical guidance and capacity strengthening to staffand partners
- Problem-solving mindset and creativity;
Language: Fluency (level C) in both in English and Ukrainian languages.
