FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the overall guidance of the Director of GLO/ITP and Project Manager, direct supervision of the ITPO Head, and working with the project team, administers elements of technical cooperation programme or specific project/s of limited complexity and execution of technical cooperation programmes and supports the implementation of ITPO Russia activities as well as Division-wide priorities. The Project Administrator shall carry out the following main duties:
Education:
Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in engineering, sciences, economics, business administration, international relations or other relevant discipline with specialization in trade, project management, SME development or Corporate Governance, is required.
Technical and Functional Experience:
At least three (3) years of work experience in an area relevant to the Directorate of Global Partnerships and External Relations, including experience in the administration, coordination or implementation of projects and programmes in international organizations, governmental authorities or the private sector is required.
Proven communication and coordination skills are desirable.
Familiarity with the UN system and knowledge of UNIDO programmes, requirements, procedures, rules and regulations is an asset.
Ability to research and analyze information, make linkages with the strategic vision of the Organization, and recommend solutions is an asset. Ability to write in a clear and concise manner is an asset.
Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian is required.
