The Position:

The Resource Mobilisation (RM) & Partnership Analyst is based in the Country Office in Kabul and contributes to the design, analysis and implementation of resource mobilization and partnership strategies within the programme structure of the United Nations Population Fund Country Office in Afghanistan.

The Analyst provides analytical and coordination support to strengthen funding opportunities, support donor engagement, and contribute to the preparation of proposals, reports, and information materials.

The position works in close collaboration with the programme and the communications teams to ensure that programme priorities, results information, and visibility products support partnership engagement and resource mobilization efforts.

The position reports directly to the Resource Mobilization Partnership Specialist.

Job Purpose:

The RM & Partnership Analyst contributes to strengthening the Country Office’s partnership engagement and resource mobilization efforts by supporting analysis, coordination, and preparation of high-quality information and communication materials.

The role supports proposal development, donor reporting, partner engagement, and tracking of funding opportunities to help sustain programme activities and expand collaboration with partners.

Information Management and Coordination

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designated authority. 

Education:

Advanced university degree in international relations, public administration, economics, communications, business administration, or other related fields, is required.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of other official UN languages is desirable.
