Tiered Approach

The Analyst position is central to strengthening the synergies among the programme units and maximizing outputs through financial and resource mobilization approaches. |

Position Purpose |
|
The Policy and Programme Analyst support the Strategy & Business Development Team in formulating programme pipeline strategies aligned with UNDP objectives, fostering partnerships, supporting government policy initiatives, and engaging in financing for development. This role embodies the integration of diverse developmental challenges to shape impactful programs while working closely with various stakeholders. UNDP adopts a portfolio approach to accommodate changing business needs and leverage linkages across interventions to achieve its strategic goals. This is a recognition of the interconnected nature of development risks & crises that the world is facing and that call for assembling multidisciplinary teams for an integrated & systemic response. Therefore, UNDP personnel are expected to work across issues, units, functions, teams and projects in multidisciplinary teams in order to enhance and enable horizontal collaboration. |

Education |

An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related degree is required. OR A first level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above-mentioned fields in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree. |
